Photo: Ferris WheelMathematics is all around us especially in places you wouldn’t expect: games, music, flowers, artwork, skate/snowboarding, etc. Research an area in art, nature, or entertainment and find out how mathematics is involved. Create your own original work pertaining to your research, such as a paper, song, poster, etc., and present it to the class explaining how mathematics is involved in the area you chose to research.  The links below give some examples of this phenomenon of mathematics.  They can be used as idea starters or references.
